This blog, Soccer Syndrome, was recently created (December 2016) to share my love of soccer with other "True Soccer Addicts". Recently on Twitter I connected with another one of those soccer addicts in MJ Lee who runs another soccer related blog: Soccer Movie Mom. MJ Lee focuses strictly on reviewing soccer movies and since I learned a long time ago that there is no need to reinvent the wheel, I will be sharing her reviews with our Soccer Syndrome readers. You can follow Lee on Twitter @SoccerMovieMom.
Bounce: How the Ball Taught the World to Play review by MJ Lee (@SoccerMovieMom)
Jerome Thelia’s Bounce is a fascinating and thought-provoking documentary that explores why ball play is so instinctive and important to us.
According to the researchers, ‘A ball game is a microcosm of our lives’, and sport is a combination of tribalism and brilliant storytelling. That’s pretty heavy stuff (and there’s more), but the filmmakers present convincing examples.
